The
Nailsea and District Horticultural Society held their 29th Annual
Spring Show, at Nailsea School, on 6th April 2002. This was the
3rd Annual Show held at the venue after having moved from the Scotch
Horn Centre. |

It
was a rather blustery day - so we were glad to be indoors |
| |
This
year saw over 700 entries, nearly 500 of which were daffodils. They
were judged by a National Judge, who commented on the very high
standard of the entries, and said they were amongst the best in
the area. |

Two
of the regular exhibitors have been travelling all the way from
Williton, Somerset to enter the show for many years. A special presentation
was made to them, by Mr. Gildersleeve, Headmaster of Nailsea School
who also presented trophies to the prize winners. |
